1. THINK ABOUT
The Coaching Action-Plan provides a strategic pathway for the coach and teacher to follow as
they work together to develop a relevant plan that addresses the identified challenge and
results in improved teacher competence and student learning. In what ways do you think a
plan assists the coach in helping the teacher execute a teaching practice(s)?
 

2. CASE STUDY REVIEW
Review the case study that illustrates how a coach uses the Coaching Action Plan. Consider how
the action plan fosters commitment and effort from the teacher to implement the selected
teaching practice?
