This website contains the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts. Included are standards for reading, writing, speaking, listening, language, and media and technology. If your school district is using the Common Core State Standards, be sure to use them as a basis for your literacy instructional planning.
Locate your state and/or district reading/language arts standards. For example, if you teach in the Baltimore County School District, you would access this website, http://www.bcps.org/apps/AIMpublic/Default.aspx, and enter the subject area (Reading/English Language Arts) and grade level.
