DaSy: Child Outcomes Summary (COS) Process Online Module

Presentation

This presentation, Session 1: So What's This All About?, provides background information on the Child Outcomes Summary (COS) process, including why we collect child outcomes data and how the data are used. As you view the presentation, keep in mind that the term "outcomes" in this context is defined as the actual change or result that comes from the services provided to a child or family. Providing services is not an outcome; the outcome is what children achieve through those services. Because children continually acquire new skills, they experience a series of outcomes over time.
