Set-Up

COS team members bring together information from their diverse perspectives about how the child functions across settings and situations. During the discussion, they must synthesize that information into a single rating for each outcome area. To accurately and reliably identify a rating that describes the child's functioning, the team members need to have a shared understanding of the criteria of the 7 points on the COS scale.
