Required Readings

Just like last week, your readings this week are very simple – you have one chapter from your textbook, one podcast on Chapter 5, and two podcasts on Multicultural assessments. The chapter and materials this week are focused on both individual disabilities and tests/assessment, and on the importance of reliability. The Chapter 5 podcast is simply a review of the materials in the textbook for those who like to have the audio review.

• Podcast: A Very Short Review of reliability, measurement error, standard error of measurement, and confidence intervals- This podcast is a review of the materials presented in the textbook.
   
• Podcast: How to Work with an Interpreter- This material is found primarily at NASP (National Association of School Psychologists) online, and is an excerpt from Recommended Practices for Working with Interpreters written by Emilia Lopez, Queens College, City University of New York .
