The Sheridan Libraries
Your librarians have put together this orientation to get you started using the library and the resources and services available to support your research. Specifically, you will learn how to:
- Use the Library homepage, Research Guides and top resources in the education field,
- Find articles in scholarly databases,
- Access the full-text of articles online,
- Find and gain access to books in print and online,
- Style your research papers in the required format for the School of Education
Choose a topic in the menu under Getting Started. It is recommended that you view the topics in order, but it is not absolutely necessary. Once you choose a topic, read the text, watch the videos and explore the links in each section. Please answer the “test your knowledge” question(s) designed as a quick self-assessment of the important information covered in the units.
