The Early Warning Alert System Reports

The MD IDEA Scorecard provides schools access to predefined reports that identify students who fall into each of the four alert areas. These reports are known as the MD Early Warning Alert System Reports. Specific instructions for accessing these reports can be found in the Maryland IDEA Scorecard Quick Reference Guide: Early Warning Alert System located in the callout box to the right.

 

The Early Warning Alert System is made of 5 predefined (canned) reports. These reports are:

•Two reports detailing SPP Indicator 2 – Dropout
◦One report based on the Attendance File and
◦One report based on the October Child Count
•An Attendance Report detailing students with >80% attendance
•An Assessment Report detailing students with Basic proficiency on prior assessment for two consecutive years
•A Suspension Report detailing students with 10 or more suspensions in the prior school year
