Progress
Progress on IEP Goals is displayed in 2 ways for Goal Monitoring on the Progress section of the Student Compass: Aggregate level -- as a graph at the top and chart at the bottom. For example, you can see goal progress for all males in third grade. Both the graph and chart are updated as filters are added.
1. The top part displays a graph showing goal progress. Filters can be added to display more detailed information. Scroll down to Using Filters for instructions.
2. The top part displays a chart showing goal progress. The categories can be expanded to display more detailed information. This information is updated as filters are selected.
The Goal Monitoring section will aggregate data across the caseload and display IEP goal data. The goals will be grouped by category and then by area. A grid will display the number of goals per the category and then then number per each progress code. This provides the user with a quick view of the progress on IEP goals across the caseload.
The IEP goal category can be expanded to view the goals for the specific student. The goal can be quickly updated by clicking the Track Progress button for the goal.
To track progress, click on the Track Progress button and complete the Track Goal Progress form on the IEP/Service Plan/Status Report.
Using Filters
Filters can be added to the Goal Monitoring graph and chart.
1. Select a Metric from the Add a Filter drop-down list. A Metric is the main category on which you want to filter.
2. Select specifically which filters to display from the Filter drop-down list. Select one or more filters from that list.
3. Click on the Save This Filter button. Screen will refresh and new filtered data will be displayed in the graph at the top and in the chart at the bottom.
4. Click on the Delete This Filter button to remove all filters and to display all data.
