Required Readings

This week brings some great material on achievement testing – it is practical and to the point, resulting in your ability to use them appropriately and to debrief parents in a positive and constructive manner. In addition to the readings, there are a couple podcasts – the first is centered and focused on the questions that counselors often field from parents about their children’s testing materials – it is not directly from the text, and the second podcast is the end of the Legal and Ethical Issues from Chapter 17. It covers the judicial regulations that concern education and counseling in regards to assessment. This last podcast mentioned is simply a review of the materials in the text for those who like to have the audio review.
