I-Learn


There are two parts to I-Learn: Think About and the Case Study Review. Keep the Challenge Question in mind as you complete the directions for each section.

 

1. THINK ABOUT
The Debriefing stage of the coaching cycle provides the coach with the four-step protocol, Fast 4ward, to use during feedback sessions with the teacher. The main purpose of this practical protocol is to equip the teacher with relevant feedback to continue moving forward on the pathway of change and professional growth. Examine the Debriefing Protocol and reflect on how a protocol enhances feedback discussions.

 

2. CASE STUDY REVIEW
Review the Debriefing case study that illustrates how a coach uses the Fast 4ward protocol. Consider how the action plan fosters commitment and effort from the teacher to implement the selected teaching practice.
