MD Online IEP System Vocabulary
Buttons | The functions in the blue band (Notifications, Monitoring, Profile, IEP Summary, Meetings, and Forms). This information is at the student level. |
Caseload | Information that is consolidated across all students assigned to a Teacher, School Based Administrator or County level/Data Manager. |
IEP Module | Where new IEPs are created, active IEPs updated, Amendments created, and prior IEPs accessed. |
Monitoring page | Progress on IEP goals grouped and also displayed in a visual format. This can be aggregated for all students in the caseload or for an individual student. |
Notification page | A display of meetings and important information. This can be aggregated for all students in the caseload or for an individual student. |
Profile page | All key demographic and school information consolidated into one location. |
Section | The upper level of functions in the white band (Student, Monitoring, Meeting, Reports, and Administration). This information is at the caseload level. |
Single Sign-On (SSO) | Each teacher can sign in to the tool with one account and see any and all students for whom they have legal rights to. |
Student Compass Module | Where information supporting and surrounding the actual IEP is located. See items defined in the Section and Button definitions. |
Student Level | Information for an individual student. |
Tab | Related information on pages separated into tabs. |
Table of Contents | List of options available or navigational choices. |
Metrics | Data that will be represented on the x axis. The main area of focus. |
Filters | Information that can be applied to the metric to narrow the data set. |
Split | To divide the data into items contained in a filter. If applying a split by gender then the bars in the chart will have a male and female component. |
Data Analytics | Four steps to guide users through the process of analyzing and presenting data to support data-driven decision making. |
