Rereading/Practice Reading

Once students hear text read appropriately they need to practice reading aloud. Reading aloud to a partner is an excellent way to have students practice fluency. Students can also read into a recorder and then listen to their reading after recording it. This would also be an opportunity for the teacher to hear the student’s reading.
