Wrap-Up

To make the current MD Online IEP System more modern, user friendly, and easier to use, some changes have been made. Each component located within Student Compass has a unique feature, however, the tool has retained some important commonalities.

Even though the MD Online IEP System has a new “look”, the steps to complete workflows are the same.  Once you’re writing an IEP, the steps will be very similar to the current version. However, an enhancement such as Notifications, at both the caseload and student level, prepares the user to tackle any upcoming issues and problems in a timely fashion on behalf of the parents and the student.

In order to WRAP-Up this PD Activity, you should go back to any areas that you did not understand or were unclear for you and review them.
