Check out the two blogs below as examples of how students have used blogs for course reflections:

Example #2

Blogs

Blogs, or web logs, are personal entries made by the author, usually posted in chronological order. Originally used as personal online diaries or journals, blogs are often now used by authors to post articles or other information they wish to share with their audience.  Blogs also include the ability to comment on entries posted by the author.  In JHU online courses, blogs are often used by students to reflect upon course concepts. One strategy for incorporating blogs in your course, is to require 1-2 reflections per course, with the reflections maintained on the students' blogs.

There are dozens of blogging tools available for student use. Blogger, Wordpress and EduBlog are three free, easy-to-set up and use blogging tools.
