Statistics Tool Tutorial

The Statistics tool will assist you in tracking student participation in discussion forums.  Until the feature is fully functional, you can get a high-level view of the total number of posts a student has made.  From the Announcements or Discussion tab of your course, you will see a Community Stats icon. 

Simply click on that icon, and you will see a list of your students and the number of discussion posts they made to your community discussions.  Note, the total number you see will not include posts made to Team or Group Spaces.
