Conducting Productive Meetings to Accelerate Learning
This Online Learning Event introduces the TEAMS Meeting Protocol - a structured approach to a 30 minute meeting that takes place monthly or at the end of a unit of instruction. The TEAMS Meeting is designed for productivity and instructional decision making. The meeting process takes co-teachers through a protocol to:

In completing the TEAMS Meeting, co-teachers examine co-teaching effectiveness, assess student performance, and target improvement of the co-teaching team. Combined with the Snapshot Data Tool, the TEAMS Meeting promotes efficiency, effectiveness, and high performance for co-teachers and all the students in their classes.
The competency teachers will meet is:
- Competency IX: Monitor student progress frequently using "real-time" data to accelerate learning among all students.
- Competency X: Use the TEAMS Meeting protocol routinely to guide instructional planning.
The specific objectives for this OLE are:
- S3.1 Review elements of the TEAMS Meeting Protocol.
- S3.2 Examine student performance over time.
- S2.3 Review a completed TEAMS Meeting Protocol.
- S2.4 Discuss the benefits of a structured meeting protocol for the co-teaching team.
