Learning Together: OLE F3

Now that you have learned more about the Team Based Cycle of Instruction (TBCI) it's your turn to prepare for and conduct meetings with co-teachers and administrators to check in on F3 progress.

Overview

As a result of OLE F3, co-teachers will have completed the team product, TBCI Role Protocol for the final four stages: Learning Together, Just for Me, Assessment and WRAP-Up. They may refer to the TBCI Role Protocol Companion again for support in completing this protocol. As an administrator/facilitator, your job is to:

  1. Check-In with co-teachers: Meet with each co-teaching team to ensure that they were able to successfully complete the team product and that there are no barriers to their implementation efforts. You will also review the BL Co-Teaching Brief "Models of Co-Teaching" to discuss research related to co-teaching.
  2. Instructional Facilitators: Check-In with the administrative team: Facilitators check in with the administrative team to ensure that they are aware of their co-teaching teams' OLE progress, review the goals and benchmarks set in the beginning of the program, and identify important next steps.
  3. Complete the Phase 1 Performance Rating: As this OLE completes Phase 1 of the Boundless Learning Co-Teaching program, you will now conduct a comprehensive Performance Rating for each team. Click here for more information on Phase 1 and the Performance Rating.
  4. Complete the Action ChecklistAfter conducting these meetings, you will complete the Action Checklist to document any relevant information. You will be prompted to complete the checklist in the WRAP-Up stage of this OLE.
