Conducting Productive Meetings to Accelerate Learning

 

This Online Learning Event introduces the TEAMS Meeting Protocol - a structured approach to a 30 minute meeting that takes place monthly or at the end of a unit of instruction. The TEAMS Meeting is designed for productivity and instructional decision making. Directions within in each step of the meeting process takes co-teachers through a protocol to:

In completing the TEAMS MEETING, co-teachers examine co-teaching effectiveness, assess student performance, and target improvement fo the co-teaching team. Combined with the Snapshot Data Tool, the TEAMS Meeting promotes efficiency, effectiveness, and high performance for co-teachers and all the students in their classes.

 

The competency you will meet is:

  • Competency 10: Use the T.E.A.M.S. meeting protocol routinely to guide instructional planning.

The specific objectives for this Online Learning Event are:

S3.1 Review elements of the TEAMS Meeting Protocol.

S3.2 Examine student performance over time.

S2.3 Review a completed TEAMS Meeting Protocol.

S2.4 Discuss the benefits of a structured meeting protocol for your co-teaching team.
