Welcome to the Boundless Learning Co-Teaching Program Online Learning Event: Student Compass/ClassView. This Online Learning Event will introduce you to the Student Compass/ClassView tool and its accompanying Instructional Strategies Bank. This Online Learning Event addresses the use of a systematic approach to accessing appropriate instructional materials and techniques relevant to student needs in your classroom. The Student Compass/ClassView and Instructional Strategies Bank will help identify specific tools and techniques to help all students learn. This planning tool also ensures that students with disabilities are provided appropriate accommodations to meet their IEP goals.

The competency that you will meet is:

• Competency 8: Use the Student Compass/ClassView planning tool to organize and monitor accommodations, modifications, and specialized instructional/behavioral strategies that support students with special needs.

The specific objectives for this Online Learning Event are:

S1.1 Recognize differences between accommodations and modifications.

S1.2 Demonstrate use of the Student Compass/ClassView.

S1.3 Apply tools and techniques in the Instructional Strategies Bank when planning lessons.
