Comparing and Contrasting

1. Student chooses two characters in the story or two pieces of the text.
2. Title the paper with these two items.
3. Use the compare contrast graphic organizer and write descriptors about the two pieces of text or the characters. In the center the student will write similarities about the two items being compared.
4. As student reads they list words to describe the two characters or items and place them in the appropriate spot on the organizer.
