All students, including those with learning disabilities, have characteristics that may thrill you on some days and confound you on others. Your ability to know, reach, and teach children with academic differences is largely dependent on the quality of your instruction. This responsibility obligates you to follow special education law and use your educational expertise to close the gap between where students are and where they must be. The more you know, the better able you will be to provide the highest quality instruction possible. |
