Throughout this course, you have explored in depth the six brain-targets in the Brain-Targeted Teaching Model. You have spent the past three weeks discussing issues related to brain-based teaching and critiquing and brainstorming ideas for BTT unit plans. By now, you have a good idea of how the BTT Model® serves as a framework for planning instruction compatible to how the brain functions and how your students learn best.

This week you will build upon your knowledge about the BTT Model® by exploring strategies to expand the focus on Brain-Targeted Teaching from the classroom context to the larger school context. You will learn what each brain-target looks like when applied at the school level. You will also examine tools designed to support implementation of Brain-Targeted Teaching.
